Work experience is not only a great way to find out if you want to work in housing but also a great way of enhancing your CV. Employers will look favourably on those with some previous experience.

Many organisations will offer placements for students (either school, college or university) for a short period to give them an opportunity to work in the sector. Contact the social housing organisations in your area, your local council will be able to provide you with a list. You can then write to them and send your CV to find out what opportunities they have.
